Home Team Leaders

If you would like to lead a Home Team, please review the following information and complete the Leader Registration Form below by the upcoming season deadline.

Who Can Be A Home Team Leader?

Anyone can lead a Home Team! If you have a personal relationship with Christ and a passion to lead others in a small group setting, we would love for you to be a Home Team Leader.

Is Training Required?

All Home Team Leaders are required to attend Home Team Leader training prior to each Season. This group training will provide you the tools needed to plan your group and lead your people.

What is the Time Commitment?

Leaders should expect to spend a few hours each week preparing, praying for and leading their group. Leaders also make a commitment to lead a Home Team for two seasons per year.

How Do I Start a Home Team?

First, decide what you want to study! Plan your syllabus and submit your proposed plan to the Home Team Director, Kristine Wood. Next, submit the Leader Registration Form below to be included in the upcoming season's Home Team Listings.

How Do I Get People To Join My Group?

Team Church advertises your Home Team for you during our season sign-up period. You are responsible for writing a creative description for your team. The more detailed your description, the easier it will be for prospective members to know if your group is right for them!

You can also invite people to your Home Team! Spend some time on Sunday mornings meeting new people and telling them about your group. Sometimes a personal invitation is all it takes for someone new to be a part of your group.

Once Home Team signups are closed for the season, you will be provided a list of names and contact information for individuals or couples interested in your Home Team. You will then be responsible for following up with each person with details on where your group meets and any materials needed for your study.

WINTER/SPRING 2012 HOME TEAM SEMESTER

Groups will meet January 29th-May 19th 2012

The Leader Registration for the FALL SEASON must be submitted by Wednesday, November 20th.
***Registration begins January 8th.
