Our Strategy
All successful teams, no matter who they are, credit much of their success to executing a thoughtful, intentional game plan. Team Church has a two-part Game Plan that focuses on helping people discover their deep need for a Savior, then moving them towards a purposeful and Christ-honoring lifestyle.
One Purpose, Personal Devotion and a Shared Responsibility mark the philosophy of ministry at Team Church. We firmly believe in helping people become fully devoted in their walk with Christ, and hope that by making it simple and easy to remember we can equip people to grow in love with and live a life for the one who loved them first.
Game Plan
Part 1: Reach and Impact the Crowd
We believe that all people need Jesus Christ in their lives. Those who do not know Christ personally are referred to as the "Crowd." Those who call Team Church home are challenged to invest in personal relationships with those in the Crowd. As those relationships develop, they are encouraged to invite the Crowd to hear the good news of Christ through Home Teams, Sunday Services or one of the many different opportunities Team Church provides on weekly basis. People are impacted by our culturally-relevant and practical worship services and by the safe, fun environments we provide their children. Once a person accepts the grace of Jesus Christ in their life, we challenge them to be baptized and become a member at Team Church by attending Direct Connect. But that is only the first part of our Game Plan...
Part 2: Train and Empower our Players
Part two of our Game Plan is to help Christ-followers maximize their life in a purposeful and significant way. This takes place when people participate in Home Teams, volunteer on serving teams and make Personal Devotion a regular part of their daily lives. This is what being a Player is all about, and as Players grow in their personal relationship with Christ, they are empowered to reach their friends and family just as they were reached with the love of Christ. The Game Plan then comes full circle and we repeat it over and over in the lives of every person!
