VOLUNTEER
One of our Shared Responsibilities at Team Church is SERVING the Church. When we volunteer to serve others, extending a hand to those in need, we model the heart of Jesus Christ.
Each area of ministry at Team Church is made up of several different volunteer teams who serve on Sundays and during the week. Browse our listing of volunteer opportunities at Team Church below. Sign up for an area or two that you are interested in, and someone will be in touch with more information and an opportunity to begin serving.
What opportunities are available?
Team Church has six areas of ministry that are made up of multiple volunteer teams who serve on Sundays and during the week. After browsing the descriptions below, complete the Volunteer Resistration Form to sign-up and someone will be in touch about your next step.
All-Stars Kids Ministry (view all positions)
Preschool Caregivers
Lead and care for our nursery and preschool children in age-appropriate classrooms.
Time Commitment: 1-2 hrs per Sunday, 1-2 Sundays per month.
Age Requirement: 18 years old (there are opportunities available for volunteers in the 6th grade - 17 years old)
Elementary Assistants
Lead and care for our Kindergarten- 5th grade kids in a small group setting.
Time Commitment: 1-2 hrs per Sunday, 2 Sundays per month.
Age Requirement: 18 years old (there are opportunities available for volunteers in the 6th grade - 17 years old)
Special Needs Buddy
Serve as a one-on-one buddy to special needs kids on Sunday mornings.
Time Commitment: 1-2 hrs per Sunday, 2 Sundays per month.
Age Requirement: 18 years old (there are opportunities available for volunteers in the 9th grade - 17 years old)
Designated Hitters
Serve as a floating worker on Sunday mornings, being flexible to serve in multiple areas as needed.
Time Commitment: 1-2 hrs per Sunday, 1-2 Sundays per month.
Age Requirement: 18 years old (there are opportunities available for volunteers in the 9th grade - 17 years old)
Tech Team Leader
Oversee the student tech team on Sunday mornings in the elementary kid's service.
Time Commitment: 1-2 hrs per Sunday, 1-2 Sundays per month.
Age Requirement: 18 years old (there are opportunities available for volunteers in the 9th grade - 17 years old)
Tech Team
Serve as tech assistant during the elementary kid's service running PowerPoint, sound and lights.
Time Commitment: 1-2 hrs per Sunday, 1-2 Sundays per month.
Age Requirement: 6th grade and up (there are opportunities available for qualified 4th and 5th grade kids)
Kids Check-In Attendant / Host
Serve at the All-Stars check-in desk, assisting parents checking their kids into the Kids Ministry on Sunday mornings.
Time Commitment: 1-2 hrs per Sunday, 2 Sundays per month.
Age Requirement: 18 years old
Kids Ministry Office Assistant
Assist our Kids Ministry staff with administrative tasks in preparation for Sunday mornings and/or teamKID.
Time Commitment: 2-4 hrs per month, during the week.
Age Requirement: 18 years old
teamKID Group Leader
Serve as a Bible Study Team Leader or Game Leader to a group of elementary aged kids.
Time Commitment: 2 hrs per week, Wednesday nights
Age Requirement: 18 years old
teamKID Café Assistant
Serve pizza, drinks, and snacks prior to teamKID.
Time Commitment: 1 hr per week, Wednesday nights
Age Requirement: 18 years old
Our All-Star team of volunteers is made up of willing parents, adults, and teens who serve our kids in many capacities throughout the week. From the cradle through the 5th grade there are many areas to serve. Our volunteers are valued, loved, and are the true backbone of our All-Stars Kids Ministry. Sign-up to volunteer!
Student Ministry (view all positions)
Home Team Leader
Lead Student Home Team discussion, help plan events, and connect with students weekly through phone, email or text.
Time Commitment: 2 hrs on Sunday, plus any prep required.
Age Requirement: 19 years old, or one year out of High School
Student Worship Band
Play the Guitar, Bass, Drums, or Keyboards in our Student Ministry Worship Band.
Time Commitment: 3 hrs on Sunday afternoons and 3 hrs on Wednesday nights.
Age Requirement: 6th-12th grade
Student Tech Team
Run sound, computer, and lights on Wednesday Nights for The Pursuit.
Time Commitment: 3 hrs on Wednesday nights.
Age Requirement: 19 years old, or one year out of High School (there are opportunities for students in 6th through 12th grade)
Wednesday Night Ops
Help with check-in, serve pizza, set up, tear-down, and be a crowd mixer.
Time Commitment: 3 hrs on Wednesday night.
Age Requirement: 19 years old, or one year out of High School. (there are opportunities for students in 6th through 12th grade)
Drivers
Drive vans or cars for ministry events, including summer camp.
Time Commitment: Varies with event.
Age Requirement: 25 years old
Student ministry leaders serve either as home team leaders on Sundays or as part of the production cast on Wednesday nights. The team is made up of married and single adults as well as a few extremely qualified and devoted teenagers. Without these individuals, this ministry could not exist. Sign-up to volunteer!
Campus Support (view all positions)
Green Team
Beautify our landscape by performing scheduled grounds maintenance.
Time Commitment: scheduled as needed.
Age Requirement: 16 years old.
Clean Team
Help maintain an excellent facility by cleaning an assigned portion of the building using Team Church equipment and cleaning supplies.
Time Commitment: 1-2 hrs per week, weekdays or Sunday mornings.
Age Requirement: 16 years old.
Database Administrator
Help maintain our various ministry databases and administrate follow-up.
Time Commitment: 2-4 hrs per month, during the week.
Age Requirement: 18 years old
Office Support Team
Support every area of ministry by cutting, folding and stuffing handouts and other printed brochures, mailers and publications.
Time Commitment: Thursday morning, 1-3 hr per week.
Age Requirement: 18 years old
Campus Support volunteers are crucial to the operations of Team Church. These behind-the-scenes positions allow the Team Church Pastors to focus on their specialized areas of ministry. Sign-up to volunteer!
Guest Services (view all positions)
Host Team
Create a positive first impression of Team Church on Sunday morning by greeting guests, helping them find their way around the building, and assisting people getting seated during Sunday Services.
Time Commitment: 1-2 hrs per Sunday, 2 Sundays per month
Age Requirement: 18 years old.
Cafe Team
Prepare and serve beverages and snacks to guests on Sunday morning and during special events.
Time Commitment: 2 hrs per Sunday, every other week or during special events.
Age Requirement: 16 years old.
Parking Team
Welcome guests, direct traffic and perform security checks around the facility and in the parking lots throughout the morning.
Time Commitment: 3 hrs per Sunday, once a month or during special events.
Age Requirement: 16 years old

Adult Connections (view all positions)
Community Impact Team
This team is project-oriented and community-focused. Projects may be diverse in scope, vary in size and be any length. However, they will all be focused on reaching out! Signing up for this team adds your name to our community impact volunteer list, and you will be contacted about upcoming projects as they arise.
Time Commitment: Project-based, as needed
Age Requirement: 14 years old (There are opportunities for kids with parental supervision, depending on the event)
Home Team Leader
Lead a group of adults in discovering what the Bible says about our lives and then living it out in practical ways.
Time Commitment: 3-4 hrs per week for an 8-10 week session, two times per year.
Age Requirement: 18 years old
Support Groups
Assist with operations of our Celebrate Recovery Support Groups by facilitating a group, leading worship or helping with the administration; many different positions available.
Time Commitment: 2-4 hrs per week, Friday nights.
Age Requirement: 18 years old
At Team Church, we place a high value on helping people get connected. It is a fact that unless an individual makes a relational connection with other people, they will soon move on to other things. Creative and Technical Arts (view all positions)
Worship Band
Use your musicals skills to create a worship experience for attendees on Sunday mornings. Positions available for musicians (rock or orchestral) and vocalists (soloists or ensemble); Band auditions offered in the Spring and Fall.

Time Commitment: 5 hrs Sunday morning and 2 hrs Monday nights, every other week.
Age Requirement: 18 years old. (there are opportunities available for Student Worship Band members)
Stage Design
Design, build and/or strike stage sets and props used in the various ministries of Team Church. Various skills desired: set design, light carpentry, decorative design, drawing & painting, sewing, general labor.
Time Commitment: Project-based, as-needed.
Age Requirement: 18 years old. (there are opportunities available for volunteers in the 9th grade - 17 years old)
Production
Help produce the elements that happen during Sunday services including: sound, projection, lighting, stage management and video production.
Time Commitment: 5 hrs per week, 2-3 Sundays per month and during Fellowship Services
Age Requirement: 18 years old. (there are opportunities available for volunteers in the 9th grade - 17 years old)
Graphics & Publications
Develop ideas to communicate message points and ministry events through printed and web-based media. Various skills desired: graphic design, copy writing/proofing/editing, and page layout.
Time Commitment: Project-based, as-needed.
Age Requirement: 16 years old.
Creative and Technical Arts Teams use their specialized skills in multi-media, production and technology to help Team Church make an impact in a creative and relevant way. Sign-up to volunteer!
