MISSIONS

"Go therefore and make disciples of all nations" - Matthew 28:19

At Team Church, we actively live out our core values of love, serve, give and share through our GO Outreach initiative. Through this outreach ministry, Team Church gives back to the community by serving with and financially supporting various local and global organizations.

JOIN THE
MISSION

There are many ways to get involved. You can serve occasionally or consistently. Locally or internationally.

Coordinate Service Projects

If you’re passionate about the mission and vision of one of our GO partners and would like to coordinate service projects with that partner, contact Kristine Wood for more information.

Sponsor A Trip

You don't have to be able to travel across the ocean in order to make an impact internationally. You can choose to financially support someone who will be going on one of the international mission trips. When you give you become part of the life change that happens for so many people on international mission trips. We thank you for your support!

LOCAL MISSIONS

Throughout the year, Team Church takes part in local missions, such as Stuff The Bus and Christmas Mission. We adopt classrooms, tutor students in need, stock food pantries, tidy up landscaping, clean bathrooms, attend prayer walks, give blood, provide financial support and more. We roll up our sleeves to help out, being the tangible hands and feet of Christ to our local community in a variety of ways.

River Hill Refuge

The mission of River Hill Refuge is to transform the lives of children who are victims of trauma—many of whom have been tragically discarded or overlooked by dysfunctional families and society. River Hill Refuge will provide a loving, Christian home and share the hope available through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

Love Life

Every year, Love Life partners with thousands of believers from local churches and community leaders to prayer walk outside the darkest places in our cities – the local abortion center. Our “40 Week Journey of Hope” is based on a baby’s life in the womb from conception to birth. Every prayer walk consists of a time of prayer, worship, testimonies, the “tragic truth”, and an opportunity to connect with Love Life ministries beyond the prayer walk.

One7 Ministries

Refugees and immigrants come to the United States each year, escaping war, persecution, and other dangers seeking a better life. Unfortunately, this is not always what they find—broken social systems, cultural barriers, crime, and other disadvantages land many once again in poverty and danger. Families often become homeless or broken, youth get pulled into gangs and drugs, and hope fades.

Through One7, God is making the impossible possible...

American Red Cross

Stuff The Bus

Every year for the past 15 years we have reached out to local area schools and blessed the teachers/students with bags of school supplies.

INTERNATIONAL MISSIONS

Joshua Project

Joshua Project is a research initiative seeking to highlight the people groups of the world with the fewest followers of Christ. Accurate, updated people group information is critical for understanding and completing the Great Commission. Revelation 5:9 and 7:9-10 show that there will be some from every tribe, tongue, nation and people before the Throne.

Back2Back - Monterrey, Mexico

During a week in Monterrey, Mexico, we partner with local children’s home to help Back2Back in their mission to provide holistic care to orphans. This is done by providing for their physical needs, spiritual needs, educational needs, emotional needs and social needs. It is a week full of sharing God’s love and mercy with children who need to know they are loved.

Cypress Project

The Cypress Project equips church plant teams, pastors, and community and marketplace leaders to mobilize gospel transformed people as missionaries where they live, learn, work, and play, fueling collaboration among churches to multiply more missionary disciples, leaders, and churches.

CHURCH PLANTING

ARTISAN
CITY
CHURCH

AJ + Liberty Holt

AJ and Liberty Holt will leave Team Church staff at the end of December to become our new full-time church planters. AJ has served on staff since 2014, first as a student pastor and then as our associate pastor.
Beginning in January 2024, they will be fundraising and training before moving to St. Petersburg, Florida to plant Artisan City Church. This will be the sixth church that Team Church has helped fund and send out.

St. Petersburg is a beautiful yet broken city. It is a hub of art and culture that enjoys 360 days of annual sunshine yet is also a major hub of LGBTQ ideology, homelessness, and drug addiction. Every two days a person dies from a drug overdose in the county where St. Petersburg is located. In most recent surveys, the city is 80% unchurched.
The dream for Artisan City is to plant in the heart of St. Petersburg and be a beacon of the hope found in the Gospel of Jesus. Artisan City exists to see the beauty and message of Jesus crafted in the people of St. Petersburg. Their goal is to launch in the first half of 2025.

If you would like to learn more about this church plant and receive regular updates from AJ you can sign up for their newsletter at artisancity.church.
